Our client, who operates at a national level and provides their customers, who span across Sub-Sahara Africa, with a farm to fork service are in search of a dynamic Sales Representative to join their team.
 
They are looking for a natural born leader who’s been there and done that, and who relishes being hands-on. You will need to be a multi-tasker, a rapid thinker, and a seasoned salesperson who can make things happen. As a Customer Manager, your primary role is delivering volume and margin targets, selling our basket of products within the category, oversee activities of the customers, and monitor performance as a whole.
 
You will close new business, define and meet your KPIs targets regularly, and analyse consumer and market behaviour patterns.
 
This role requires commercial acumen, industry knowledge and a deep understanding of the customer base (both customers that you will bring on and current customers), the competitive market, and an ability to analyze sales performance per customer and product. In addition, the Customer manager/category lead role is an integral part of the business in that it also involves collaborations with numerous internal departments.
 
You will identify new opportunities, understand prospects’ needs, sign new B2B customers, navigating credit risk and close deals to reach our ambitious growth targets.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Communications, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration or IMM
  • A self-starter, keen, ambitious, and hungry to get results. Relentless and experienced in reaching out to leads and generating sales
  • Excellent verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen; able to understand the needs of a customer and design a solution that works for all parties
