Our client , a well known South African listed company, is looking for a Business Analyst who will ensure business processes are supported with efficient, effective, integrated and automated applications.
Main Purpose of Role:
- Evaluating business needs, documenting systems requirements, and translating data between business users and technical developers.
- Working between cross functional groups and stakeholders evaluating the information gathered through workshops, interviews and business process mapping.
- Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams.
- Developing interactive reports and dashboards.
- Project execution, technical support and training for users.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bsc Degree in Industrial Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an analyst role
- Proven experience in analysing business systems requirements and articulating this requirement to a development house both verbally and via professional detailed requirements specifications.
- Excellent administrative, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Experience in a Logistics and/or Shipping environment will be an advantage
